Andreia Penso Pereira is a data analyst, graduated in Mathematics and in Applied Mathematics to Statistics and Operational Research, and post-graduated in Business Intelligence.
Senior technical for about 10 years, in the Northern Regional Health Administration, she collaborated in the development of the institution's business intelligence solutions, in the planning and implementation of population-based screening programs, as well as in numerous projects concerning health resources optimization, namely:
-Identification of the care profile of the Northern Rehabilitation Center,
- Characterization of disabilities associated with diabetes,
-Project of the National Commission for the Development of Outpatient Surgery,
- Project of the Commission for the Reduction of the Rate of Caesarean section,
- Implementation of Porto’s Integrated Pediatric Emergency (UPIP),
- ISARE Project - Health Indicators of the European Regions, financed by the European Community (integrated in the Health Monitoring Program) and proposed by FNORS (Fédération nationale des observatoires régionaux de la santé)
She is currently an inspector of the Tax Authority in the area of statistics and data science, developing models to combat fraud and tax evasion.
She is a doctoral student at Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa in complexity sciences, dedicating herself to the investigation of simulation models for the analysis and optimization of population-based screening programmes.
