Liza Bonakdar is currently a PhD candidate in Management specializing in Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics, at ISCTE Business School. She is a member of the Business Research Unit (BRU-Iscte). The main focus of her research is how artificial intelligence reshapes sustainability strategies in textile supply chains under the Industry 5.0 paradigm, with emphasis on social and economic sustainability, the Triple Bottom Line, and the Circular Economy.

Before joining ISCTE-IUL, she worked for about 10 years at the Mashhad Mall (STHT) and Iran Mall in Iran, first as Public Relations Manager and later as Exploitation Manager. She also lectured in International Marketing, Strategic Management, and Marketing Research at Shandiz University, and earlier held marketing, sales, and management roles in Dubai and Cyprus.
