Canan Albayrak de Brito Colaço holds a PhD in architecture from Middle East Technical University (METU). She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from METU and a M.Sc. degree in Computational Design and Fabrication Techniques in Architecture from Delft University of Technology (TUDelft).
Her research focus is in computational design research, design cognition and participatory design. She is interested in the cognitive aspects of design education and communication methods related with emerging technologies.
She has international experience in architectural practice in Portugal, Mozambique, Turkey and the Netherlands.
