I am a data analyst working with TV and radio audiences, and simultaneously a PhD candidate researching on International Communication. I enjoy connections – between words and numbers, between industry and academia.

It was out of curiosity that I decided to pursue an academic career, parallelly to my industry work. I am currently a PhD candidate in International Studies. My PhD research is focused on International Communication in China and in the US, particularly on the communication of technology in international media. Methodologically, I am interested in scientometrics, bibliometrics, science mapping, network analysis, and text mining.
