Catarina Marques Santos graduated and obtained her Bachelor in Psychology at ISCTE–IUL, in Lisbon, in 2008. In the same year she started her Master in Social and Organizational Psychology at ISCTE–IUL. During her studies she was an Erasmus student at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences of Leiden University, The Netherlands. Catarina did her internship for four months in Psicotec, a Human Resources Consultancy, in Lisbon. In 2010 she obtained her M.Sc. in Social and Organizational Psychology. In October 2010, Catarina started her thesis research at the Business Research Unit (BRU-IUL) at ISCTE–IUL. In September 2011, she was awarded with a doctoral grant (SFRH/BD/79292/2011) from Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) to her thesis research. In 2013, she was a visiting doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience of Maastricht University. In 2016, she finished her European Doctorate and Double Doctoral Degree in Human Resources Management and Development awarded by both ISCTE-IUL and Maastricht University. Currently, Catarina works as a Post-doctoral researcher at BRU-IUL on a Research Project, funded by FCT, under the title “Team cognition, adaptation and multiteam systems in dynamic environments” (PTDC/MHCPSO/1044/2014). Catarina research deals with temporal and team dynamics, team cognition, team learning, and team leadership. Her research has been published in journals such as Journal of Managerial Psychology, European Management Journal, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, and The Leadership Quarterly. Catarina serves as ad-hoc reviewer on different journals and conferences, such as Group & Organizational Management, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Managerial Psychology, INGRoup Conference, European Academy of Management Conference, and British Academy of Management Conference.
