I hold a degree in European Studies and a master’s degree in Communication, Culture, and Information Technology (MCCTI). Currently, I´m on a doctoral scholarship by the FCT in Communication Sciences, at the Center for Research and Sociology Studies (CIES-IUL) as the host institution. My main research interests explore the interface between sport, culture, and identity mainly in the European and Asian contexts. I have published in prestigious journals on the political economy of sport, focusing particularly on the impact of sports broadcasting and football governance. I participate as a Reviewer at international Journals.
