Diogo Cosme is a Ph.D. candidate at Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, where his research focuses on the intersection of natural language interaction and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). His work centers on democratizing access to geolocated data, with the aim of enabling informed, data-driven urban management. In addition to his research, he has been an Invited Lecturer at Iscte since February 2026, teaching the course on Algorithm Design and Analysis as part of the Computer Engineering bachelor’s program. His academic career has a strong international component, notably including a dual-degree program with the Université Gustave Eiffel in Paris in the fields of Computer Engineering and Intelligent Systems. RESETTING initiative and the national
EUROSTIT project, participating in international scientific forums and leading events such as the
Lisbon Machine Learning School (LxMLS).
