CV Summary

 

Architect who graduated with distinction from the Catholic University of Chile in 2009. Founder of CAMPO Arquitectura (2017) and MOB Projects (2016).

After working at the National Monuments Council of Chile, where he was responsible for interventions in protected areas and historical monuments, he began his independent professional practice. He has been invited to give lectures at the Goethe-Institut in Santiago de Chile, in the Master’s in Cultural Heritage at the Catholic University of Chile, and later to teach and serve as a jury member in design studios at the Autonomous University of Lisbon (UAL), the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (FAUL), and the University of Évora. He is a researcher at DINAMÎA’CET (ISCTE, Lisbon) and LIAT (Université Paris-Malaquais, France).

Since 2014, he has worked across a wide spectrum of architectural projects in diverse formats, ranging from territorial research and architectural design to furniture prototyping, curatorial projects, consultancy, and collaboration with cultural institutions.

His practice focuses particularly on the territorial impacts of the Anthropocene and on new socio-spatial dynamics, including critical revisions of infrastructures and extractive processes, as well as a strong analysis of architectural project culture.

He is currently a PhD candidate at ISCTE, Lisbon, with the project POWERPOINT, an audiovisual and graphic survey of major Portuguese hydroelectric dams.

Through the CAMPO studio, he has explored a wide range of architectural projects, including housing, infrastructures, and public competitions.

In 2025, he was selected as one of twenty national practices to represent Portugal at the Osaka World Expo, participating in the documentary “The Future is Now”.

He leads the international furniture design incubator MOB Projects, a platform for collaboration between architects and contemporary international artists.

In 2019, he won the international competition to co-curate the CAMPO COMUM Conference Programme 2020–2022, a three-year conference programme for the Lisbon Architecture Triennale and Garagem Sul at the Belém Cultural Centre.

He is the Coordinator of International Partnerships at the Lisbon Architecture Triennale and an architectural consultant for ELECTRA Magazine (EDP Foundation). He lives and works in Lisbon.
