PhD in Public Law (Tax Law) at Law Faculty of Extremadura University. Lecturer at ISCAL- Lisbon Accounting and Business School and Invited Lecturer at ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon. He has a European doctorate, and his thesis has a favourable opinion by Professor Pasquale Pistone (University of Salerno) and Professor Roberta Alfano (Federico II University - Naples). He has teaching, since 2003, and is currently responsible for the subjects Tax Law and Portuguese Tax System at the degree of Solicitor. He is also an arbitrator at the “Administrative Arbitration Centre”. He took part in the Technical Commission set up by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Mato Grosso, which drafted a law of tax arbitration. He published articles in specialized journals, as well book chapters and books in recognised publishing houses. He organized several scientific events and participated in relevant conferences and seminars.
