CV Summary

Architect and independent curator. He holds a degree in Architecture (2014) from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (FA-UL) and a postgraduate diploma in Curatorial Studies (2021) from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, NOVA University Lisbon (FCSH-UNL). Since 2024, he has been a PhD candidate developing research centered on the work of the photographer Luís Ferreira Alves.

The intersection of architecture, curatorship, and territory - particularly in relation to landscape, urban geographies, and the dialogue between art and spatial practices, forms the basis of his research, interests, and critical approach.

In 2018, he co-founded the curatorial collective Sul e Sueste (2018 - 2023), a research platform based in Barreiro dedicated to exploring the convergences between art and architecture, with a focus on territory and landscape. Since 2019, he has worked as a curator with public institutions, municipalities, and independent non-profit spaces, including INSTITUTO (Porto), PLATO (Porto and Évora), Museu de Almada - Casa da Cidade, PADA Studios (Barreiro), AMAC (Barreiro), and Fundação D. Luís I - Centro Cultural (Cascais).

He regularly publishes critical essays and texts for artist books, exhibition catalogues, and related publications, and has been a contributor to Umbigo magazine since 2020. He is co-author of Gaio-Rosário: Leitura do Lugar (2020), À Soleira do Infinito. Cacela Velha: Arquitetura, Paisagem, Significado (2023), and Cartografia do Horizonte: Dos Territórios aos Lugares (in press, 2026).
