Helena Almeida is a Research Assistant and a PhD Candidate in Management with specialization in Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Business Research Unit (BRU) of the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL), Portugal. She holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, both from ISCTE-IUL, Portugal.
Helena has been working as a Research Assistant in several significant European-funded projects, including the RefMap Project, which is supported by the European Union's HORIZON Research and Innovation Program, and the IMAFUSA project, which is part of the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking and received funding from the European Commission totaling almost one million euros.
Her research interests concern social acceptance and social aspects of technologies, technology management and integration, urban air mobility and technological innovation.
