Igor is a PhD student in Science and Information Technology at ISCTE (Institute University of Lisbon), in Portugal. He also served as a Guest Lecturer in European Studies at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest, where he completed his master's in Ethnic and Minority Policy, with honour. He lectured Disinformation in EU Politics, Digital Diplomacy and Learning in the EU and Digital Research Seminar.
Previously, he completed his Bachelor's degree in International Relations at UNIJORGE, in Salvador, Brazil and also collected academic experiences in Amiens, France (foreign program during the Bachelor's), Krakow, Poland (Summer school in Mixed Methods) and in Oklahoma City, USA (Academic English course).
He is a polyglot, with fluent skills in Portuguese, English, German, French and Spanish, apart of speaking Italian and Hungarian in an intermediate level. His goal is to continue on teaching and working with research in the European Union, in subjects connected to the use of technology for educational settings. He learned coding during the pandemic and he aims to use this knowledge in academic research and projects.
