I finished my Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 2017 at Nova School of Business and Economics and my Master's Degree in International Business in 2020 at Aarhus Universitet. I am currently a PhD Candidate of International Studies at ISCTE. My thesis "If you can't beat them, join them - A study of corruption's self reinforcement in democracies" focuses on individuals' and society's participation in sustaining corruption. The thesis will approach this subject by integrating knowledge from different areas, such as political science, criminology, psychology, social psychology and sociology. I want to understand better the social and psychological mechanisms that bring people to participate in corruption.
I have participated in two articles approved for publishing in specialised journals. I have presented two papers at conferences. I have collaborated in the organisation of an academic event, where I also participated in the research proposal evaluation committee.
