Doctoral candidate in Sociology at ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and carrying out doctoral research at CIES-Centro de Investigação e Estudos de Sociologia. Doctoral dissertation title: Violence in intmate partner relationships of young people: an analysis of discourses, practices and representations of violence.

Since 2007, has collaborated in national level research projects on violence against women, gender-based violence, intimate partner violence. 

Participation in international conferences focused on domestic violence and gender-based violence.

Main research interests: gender, violence in intimate partner relationships, domestic violence, crime, public policy.
