PhD candidate in management at ISCTE Business School, with focus on corporate finance and M&A. João started his professional career in strategic consulting, however almost his entire professional career was in investment banking, first at Millennium Investment Bank and then at AXIA Ventures Group. João has specialised in the areas of corporate finance and M&A, providing financial advisory services on important transactions in Portugal, Angola and Mozambique.

João has an undergraduate and master’s degree in management, specialising in corporate strategy, from NOVA School of Business and Economics in Lisbon and INSPER (Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa) in São Paulo.
