I am economist with specialization in Economic Growth and Structural Policies, and Ph.D. (2015) under the program “Democracy in the 21st Century” on experiences of (peri)urban agriculture in Lisbon (Portugal) and Maputo (Mozambique) as economic alternative forms. I also have experience in Political Economy and collective economics forms.
I am working as science manager since September 2015. Either national and at European level, I have well knowledge of regulations and laws regarding to the financial and scientific issues of funding. Nevertheless, I have expertise in support applications (pre-award) and further development of research projects, financially and technically.
Between September 2014 and January 2015, I was marketing assistant volunteer at Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations (FAO) on issues relating food system analysis and self-resilience. From August 2015 to December 2015, I am consultant at FAO on the project “Meeting urban food needs”. At FAO, I have worked food systems and urban agriculture themes (sociological and economic approach). I have work experience in project management in both banking private sector and academy (research and development).
