Leonor Neves is a PhD student in Psychology at the ISCTE-IUL.

Her research interests focus on cognitive neuropsychology, specifically to study whether and how musical training affects non-musical abilities. This interest extends further to the expression of these interrelations on brain structure, function, and neuroplasticity.

Her PhD project aims to investigate how does musical training affect socio-emotional abilities in children, both at the behavioural and the brain level (MRI).
