Graduated in Geography from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2009), Specialist in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering from ENSP / FIOCRUZ (2011), Master and Doctor in International Political Economy from PEPI / IE / UFRJ. He is a professor in the Curricular Sector of Geography at the College of Application at UFRJ, working on projects focused on Political Geography, International Political Economy, Sports / Football Geography, Amazon Geopolitics / Energy and Teacher Training. He is currently a visiting researcher at the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), being part of the group “Institutions, Governance and International Relations” and doing post-doctoral research with the following research: “Sovereign Rhetoric and the Environmental Geopolitics of Brazilian Natural Resources” .
