Maria da Conceição Pereira is a PhD student in Information Science and Technology (ICT) and researcher in the group Information Systems (IS). She graduated in Electrical and Computer Engineering, branch of Electronic Systems and Computers, at IST (UTL).

Her research interests are in: Data Science, Data Mining, Text Mining, IoT, AI and Decision Support Systems applied to real cases such as the Internationalization of Higher Education (HEI).

Maria da Conceição has been giving private lessons in Electrical and Computer Engineering subjects, since 2008. She was also an IT consultant from 1988 to 2019 and a professional computer trainer from 1988 to 2002.
