Rosário Couto Costa (rosario.c.costa@gmail.com), PhD. Her academic education and activity, from Philosophy to Sociology, have been done in parallel with a professional career. The latter has been consistently tied to governmental institutions connected to Science, namely and currently FCT - Foundation for Science and Technology. On a professional level, her experience in work closely related to the issues of scientific production and R&D indicators stands out particularly. Her newest interests are the analysis of the academic system, of its policies and of its social impact. She has been an Associated Researcher at CIES-IUL (Portugal) since January 2017, integrating the research group Knowledge Society, Competencies and Communication.
