Miguel Ângelo Lopes, BSc and MSc in Sociology (Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon), is a PhD student in Sociology (Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon).

He collaborates with the Portuguese Observatory on Cultural Activities (OPAC) since its creation in December 2018.

In 2021, he was awarded a PhD Merit Scholarship by the School of Sociology and Public Policies (ESPP) of Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon.

Since February 2024 he has held a doctoral scholarship from the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) [Ref. 2023.01921.BD].
