Paula Cajaty is a writer and editor, with a degree in Law (UNI-RIO), a master's degree and currently a PhD candidate in Political Science (ISCTE, Lisbon). She has published Afrodite in verso and Sexo, tempo e poesia (2008 and 2010), Guia essencial de autores iniciantes, Partiu Portugal: o guia essencial para estudantes (2018), and Enquanto você não olha (2020), and has contributed to anthologies of short stories, chronicles, and poetry. As CEO of Jaguatirica (@editorajaguatirica / Rio de Janeiro), Gato-Bravo (@editoragatobravo / Lisbon), and FelisPress (@felispressbooks / USA), she has produced and manages a catalog of over 600 titles, including print, ebooks, and audiobooks. She coordinates agency requests, training consulting, and editorial services at Bookxpress (@_bookxpress). Director of LIBRE - Brazilian League of Publishers, member of CPCLP, AIPE, IBPA, ABCP, APCP and Cercle des Éditeurs. She has given lectures for NESPE, the University of Aveiro and LIBRE events. She has also given presentations in the cities of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Lisbon, Óbidos, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Berlin, London, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah (UAE) and in Tai'an, China. In her Master's and Doctoral studies in Political Science, which she completed with a grade higher than 16 out of 20 and was awarded first place in the ISCTE Merit Scholarship, she dedicated herself to the study of female underrepresentation in Brazilian politics.
