CV Summary

University Professor with 20 years of career experience in teaching, government and private consultancy and business. Professor P. Almeida began his career in 1994 in the Portuguese Central Bank (Banco de Portugal) in Lisbon. Professor P. Almeida has been devoting himself to a full time university teaching career since 1997. He is Professor at ISCTE-Lisbon University lecturing in Management, Organizations, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Public Policy and Labor Relations. Professor P. Almeida has also been an Invited Professor at the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP), at the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (NOVA, Lisbon) and at the Portuguese Institute of Political Sciences and Internal Security (ISCPSI). He was Vice-President of the Portuguese Observatory of Security, Organized Crime and Terrorism (OSCOT) and of the Portuguese Transatlantic Institute (ITD). He is the President of the OPBPL - Portuguese Observatory of Good Labor Practices. He was an Opinion Columnist at DIÁRIO DE NOTÍCIAS, a Portuguese reference Newspaper, Jornal de Notícias, and written several articles in EXPRESSO, Público and Diário Económico. Professor P. Almeida published more than two hundred books and articles.
