Rita Cachado holds a PhD in Urban Anthropology (International Doctoral Program in Urban Anthropology, Lisbon, Iscte, Tarragona, URV, 2008), and is an integrated researcher at CIES, Center for Research and Studies in Sociology, Iscte. She began working on topics related to migrations and social housing, South Asian mobilities and transnationality, and is currently dedicated, in her individual project, to the study of Urban Ethnography in Portugal and ethnographic archives.
