Abstract/Resumo
Politics is an important dimension in the human life. Ideological differences, interest conflicts and power antagonisms had been lead to poverty, injustice or lack of liberty. In spite of all difficulties of dealing with such a complex system, some philosophers, social scientists and politicians never gave up to create a better society or even an utopia (Plato, Thomas Moore). The development and spread of the Internet opened new perspectives and re-opened the discussion. In this paper, concepts of e-government and e-democracy are analyzed, and the concept of e-politics is proposed. In this perspective, the opportunities of spreading information to citizens and firms were analyzed. A system was developed and used in order to induce discussion about the problem and make people aware of the possibilities of the e-politics. The use of the system was also useful to collect data for future refinements.
