Abstract
Regenerative development:
Climate crisis: Natural and human processes inherently linked.
Goal: Improve the resilience of ecosystems and human settlements vis a vis market pressures by re-embedding supply chains in territories and endogenous resources (Cretney & Bond 2017; Piani et al 2019),
Methodology: Promoting Community-Led Initiatives (CLIs), based on groups of actors “involved in sustained social interaction through commoning” to (re)produce common pool resources (De Angelis 2017: 124).
Master frames
Dialectic: Structural transformation through political means (contentious politics, policy, regulation), based on class interests. i.e. Degrowth, Social Ecology
Solidarity Economy
Holistic: structural transformation through “laboratories for the futures”, aimed at diffusing whole-systems design frameworks, inspired by patterns of inter-species cooperation observed in ecosystems. i.e. Permaculture and Bioregionalism. Post-political approach?
Ecovillages movement
Transition Movement
