Abstract/Resumo
This presentation will focus on how the integration of temperature, moisture, energy and other sensors with Building Information Modeling (BIM) models can be used to visualize and interact with building users for energy management purposes. The integration of these sensors with BIM models enables building operators to obtain real-time data on building performance, which can be used to identify energy inefficiencies and optimize building systems. This data can be used to create interactive visualizations that allow building users to see how their actions impact energy usage in real-time and take appropriate action. The presentation will discuss the multi-disciplinary approach and its benefits for energy saving, including improved occupant comfort, reduced energy costs, and increased sustainability. Additionally, the presentation will cover case studies of successful implementation of this approach in various types of buildings, including educational, and residential.
