Abstract
A história da humanidade é marcada por conflitos que moldaram sociedades, transformaram fronteiras e alteraram o curso de nações. Algumas desses conflitos, embora devastadoras, caem no esquecimento da memória coletiva, ofuscadas por conflitos mais visíveis e mediáticos.
Os conflitos de Darfur (Sudão), e do Tigré (Etiópia), são dois exemplos de conflitos que, apesar de sua gravidade, muitas vezes não recebem a atenção e a urgência que merecem. Ambos os conflitos têm suas raízes em questões étnicas, políticas e sociais complexas, resultando em crises humanitárias devastadoras. Este pequeno ensaio procurará explorar a dinâmica destas quase esquecidas conflitos, algumas das suas origens, consequências e o papel da comunidade internacional na sua (não) resolução
