Abstract
We propose to identify the opportunities for achieving the Health Sustainable Development Goals (HSDG) in 5 Portuguese-speaking African countries:(i) to analyse the challenges facing health policy implementation with reference to SDG in Lusophone Africa - Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, and São Tomé and Príncipe; (ii) to analyse if governance can influence health situation in Lusophone Africa related to health SDG programs; (iii) to discover the extent to which governments in Lusophone Africa are sensitive to health policy with respect to the SDG agenda
