Abstract
A violência no namoro é um problema de saúde pública, que pode dar origem à emergência de outras problemáticas. A adolescência traz consigo a emergência de relações de maior intimidade e, simultaneamente, constitui-se como uma oportunidade para mudar crenças pré-existentes, comportamentos e para agir nos contextos onde estes interagem. As recomendações internacionais sugerem um investimento em intervenções preventivas ou de cariz universal. Os programas de intervenção comunitária têm mostrado ser os mais eficazes, uma vez que abarcam diferentes níveis de ação. Mas, serão todo os programas eficazes? De que depende a sua eficácia? São estas e outras questões às quais o presente capítulo procura responder.
