Abstract
Nesta introdução estabelecemos os principais contornos do debate sobre as relações UE-África, com destaque para os desenvolvimentos institucionais mais recentes e para as ramificações mais significativas daí decorrentes ao nível da segurança humana e do nexo segurança-desenvolvimento. Numa primeira parte, procedemos à definição da
problemática subjacente a esta temática, seguido de uma apresentação dos artigos selecionados que constituem este número da Nação e Defesa.
