Abstract
Les travaux mettant en discussion le potentiel critique de la théorie des systèmes de Luhmann se sont multipliés ces dernières années, notamment en Allemagne (Fischer-Lescano 2010 ; Kjaer et al. 2011 ; Moeller 2012 ; Amstutz & Fischer-Lescano 2013 ; Scherr 2015 ; Möller & Siri 2016). Cependant, on s’est peu intéressé au statut de la notion de critique chez Luhmann lui-même. Or analyser comment le motif de la critique surgit dans ses travaux permet de reconstituer certaines des dynamiques qui les ont portés. Cette analyse conduit par ailleurs à reconstituer une conception proprement luhmannienne de la critique et suggère un possible développement de cette conception, dont ici très brièvement exposé, dans une première approche.
