Abstract Social movements on the African continent, in particular, in the post-mono-party period or in this period of African democratic neoliberalism, and, in particular, in these last two decades, have been characterized by a marked Social and Political Activism. The case of Angola is one of the most paradigmatic. Despite the changes that democratic neoliberalism strengthened in Angola, it was not accompanied by political changes and/or political alternation in power, partly due to a fratricidal political-military crisis between Angolans and which lasted until April 2002. Naturally, this maintenance of the power of the political ruling class, added to the same dominant and immobilism political group has led to the emergence of activist groups of protest, the vast majority with high academic training and who drink some of their “neo-social theories” in intervention texts by philosophers and theorists from Euro-Americans and on new African philosophical theories based on the main thinkers and African philo-historical doctrine, as well as on new pan-Africanist Africans who have germinated in the new African generations groups of active intervention African (national and transnational) aiming at qualitative changes in the African political scene. (See attached document which is the full Summary) ___________________________________ Resumo Os movimentos sociais no Continente Africano, em particular, no período pós-monopartidarismo ou neste período de neoliberalismo democrático africano, e, em especial, nestes dois últimos decénios têm sido caracterizados por um Ativismo Social e Político acentuado. O caso de Angola, é um dos mais paradigmáticos. Apesar das alterações que o neoliberalismo democrático fortificou em Angola, não foi acompanhado de alterações políticas e, ou, de alternância política no Poder, em parte devido a uma crise político-militar fratricida entre Angolanos e que durou até Abril de 2002. Naturalmente que esta manutenção do Poder da classe dirigente política, agregada a um mesmo grupo político imperante e imobilista tem levado ao aparecimento de grupos ativistas de contestação, a grande maioria com elevada formação académica e que bebe algumas das “suas neo-teorias sociais” em textos de intervenção de filósofos e teorizadores desde euro-norte-americanos e nas novas teorias filosóficas africanas assentes nos principais pensadores e na doutrina filo-histórica Africana, bem como em novos Africanos pan-africanistas que têm germinado nas novas gerações africanas grupos de intervenção ativa africana (nacionais e transnacionais) visando mudanças qualitativas na cena política Africana.
