Abstract
A macroeconomia moderna assenta num consenso em torno de um modelo Novo Keynesiano com três equações, uma IS, uma curva de Phillips e uma regra de política monetária. A concordância em torno destas funções foi marcada por um caminho sinuoso feito de debates e sínteses e contextualizado por acontecimentos económicos marcantes. Este trabalho apresenta e discute os principais contributos de diferentes autores, ao longo dos últimos 90 anos, para a definição do núcleo duro da disciplina.
