Abstract
Reflecte-se sobre o possível valor patrimonial da fotografia impressa enquanto imagem que demonstra e testemunha a construção de uma imagem (MetaImagem) de Portugal durante o Estado Novo. A reflexão é desenvolvida através da análise do uso da fotografia como instrumento de propaganda da acção do Estado Novo na conservação e restauro dos monumentos nacionais e da utilização da fotomontagem no pavilhão de Portugal da Exposição de Paris de 1937
