Abstract
This article presents a highly ambitious and intellectually stimulating comparative analysis of post-
imperial strategic cultures in Liberal Spain (1833-1868) and Post-Soviet Russia (1991-2025). The
core argument—that both states, following abrupt imperial collapse, developed strategic cultures
oriented toward reimperialization and followed a comparable six-stage pattern—is original,
timely, and has significant potential to contribute to the fields of historical sociology, international
relations, and strategic studies.
