Abstract
O novo governo da GB, saído das eleições de 10 de março de 2019, foi anunciado apenas na noite de 3 de julho desse ano. Neste artigo procuro demonstrar que este governo representa, em primeiro lugar, a expressão da força de uma sociedade civil ativa e em crescimento na Guiné-Bissau, com particular relevo na capital, sempre apoiada pelas organizações internacionais. Depois, que os seus principais objetivos são o de transmitir uma ideia interna e externa de estabilidade e coesão e assegurar a realização das eleições presidenciais que fecham o ciclo da normalização democrática no país.
