Abstract
A nossa identidade é construída a partir da pertença a grupos ou categorias sociais (por exemplo, ser Português, ser estudante, ser mulher, ser cigano). Contudo, nem sempre algumas dessas pertenças são valorizadas, e os alvos dessa desvalorização sentem uma marca (estigma) que os impede de se sentirem tão dignos quanto os demais. Nesta sessão, iremos tomar consciência do que é viver com uma identidade estigmatizada, porque é que o preconceito e discriminação são tão difíceis de combater, e como podemos contribuir para ajudar a reduzir as desigualdades sociais.
