Abstract
The article focuses on the scratch off game summer promotions by the Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises (LEYE) in the Chicago area in Illinois. This promotion by LEYE aims to drive consumers to visit and dine in the restaurants and get customers to try different restaurants within the corporate umbrella in an effort to increase the overall frequency of visits to LEYE properties. A brief history of LEYE, which was established in 1971, is provided. Also discussed is the competitive environment of the Chicago restaurant scene and its customer loyalty programs.
