Abstract/Resumo
This study analyzes the current state of entrepreneurship education in public higher education polytechnic institutes, through a mixed methodology analysis of the objetives, programs, teaching methods and bibliography used at the fifteen polytechnic institutes, at national level. Based on the application of a survey to teachers of entrepreneurship, an exploratory content analysis of the course’s syllabus and a content analysis of the institution’s legal statutes, seeking to better understand the state of entrepreneurship education at the polytechnic institutes for the first and second study cycles. The results suggest, among several details, the existence of some inconsistencies in the definition and organization of existing entrepreneurship teaching programs at public higher education polytechnic institutes.
