Abstract
In recent decades, tourism has established itself as one of the most dynamic economic sectors in the global economy. According to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), tourism represents one of the main sources of service exports in many countries, contributing to the generation of foreign exchange, employment, and sustainable regional development. For countries undergoing economic diversification, especially those historically dependent on natural resources, tourism can – and should – assume a strategic role in reshaping a national economy. Angola is precisely at this moment of strategic reflection. After decades in which the economy was heavily dependent on oil, the country is seeking sustainable alternatives to diversify its sources of income and improve its integration into the global economy. In this context, tourism presents itself as a concrete opportunity
