Abstract
In an increasingly diverse global mobility and international work scenario, as illustrated by Bonache et al. (2018), expatriate motives and experiences are changing, and the deployment of more dynamic, flow-based and polycentric IHRM practices and policies is recommended. This communication presented the results of a study that examined expatriate willingness (to go) and how this relates with company expatriate policies orientation, in multinational companies (MNCs) of a less frequently cited and developed country (Portugal). Research question used as starting point: Are company policies, in less cited developed countries (Portugal), being enacted as expatriate willingness qualifying resource passageway levels?
