Currently, she is a Sustainability Manager at Iscte and is part of the Office for Studies, Quality, and Sustainability, where she coordinates the implementation of institutional sustainability policies and objectives. She is responsible for maintaining and certifying the Environmental and Social Responsibility Management Systems, in accordance with ISO 14001 and NP 4469 standards. Additionally, she supports various organizational units and quality and sustainability stakeholders in implementing initiatives and projects in these areas.
She holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from Universidade Lusófona, a specialization in Geographic Information Systems from Instituto Superior Técnico, and a Master’s in Environmental and Sustainability Studies from Iscte. She conducted research on Wave Energy Conversion Systems at Universidade Lusófona, in partnership with the Hydrographic Institute.
Her professional experience includes working as a Sustainability Manager at BCSD Portugal – the Business Council for Sustainable Development – and as a senior sustainability officer at the Rectorate of the University of Lisbon.
