Sustainability Manager at Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon, integrated into the Office for Studies, Quality and Sustainability, where she ensures the management and implementation of institutional sustainability policies, objectives and initiatives. She is responsible for the management, maintenance and certification of the Environmental Management and Social Responsibility Management Systems, in accordance with ISO 14001 and NP 4469 standards, and for supporting academic and administrative units in the implementation of projects and actions in the areas of quality and sustainability. She works in close collaboration with different organisational units and institutional counterparts, supporting the development, monitoring and evaluation of projects, performance indicators and audits.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Universidade Lusófona, a postgraduate specialisation in Geographic Information Systems from Instituto Superior Técnico, and a Master’s degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies from Iscte. She is currently a PhD candidate in Sustainability Transitions at Iscte. She conducted research in wave energy systems, in collaboration with the Portuguese Hydrographic Institute. She has previous professional experience as a Sustainability Manager at BCSD Portugal and as a senior officer in the field of sustainability at the University of Lisbon.
