Carlos Hernandez Jerónimo is passionate about the development and evolution of professional management in organizations, challenging and helping several clients on a daily basis to reinvent their business models and find elegant solutions to complex problems with a focus on measuring value and predictability.
He has a degree in Computer Science and Telematics from Univ. de Aveiro and a PhD in Business Administration and Management from ISCTE, founding partner of Winning Scientific Management, has divided his career between management consulting and academia. As a specialist consultant he is responsible for the implementation, customization and design of methodologies and application systems to support Strategic Management, Benefits, Portfolios, PMO's, Programs and Projects, aligned with the most important and recognized international frameworks, in several clients in the area of banking and insurance, transportation and logistics, retail, health, construction, telecommunications and information systems. Currently assumes the responsibility for technical innovation, development and quality assurance of the services provided in the Health and Public Administration sector.
Executive Director of the Executive Master in Program and Project Management of ISCTE Executive Education, Guest Assistant Professor at ISCTE-IUL and expert trainer, holds the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude (CAP), proven experience through more than 10,000h of teaching, counting in his curriculum with the design and development of several hundred reference courses in Strategy, Business Cases, Business Analysis, Project Management and Cost Management and preparing several hundred candidates for PMI® certifications. PMP® Certificate (Project Management Professional) by PMI® (Project Management Institute - USA), MCP Certificate (Microsoft Certified Professional: Managing Projects) by Microsoft, ITIL Certificate by EXIN and MCI Certificate (Management Consulting Institute) level 1 certified. He is mentor, guest speaker in several management events. He was also Vice President of PMI Portugal from 2015 to 2018.
