Received the Ph.D. degree from the Graduate School of Engineering, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is a Full Professor at the Computer Science Department of COPPE, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and Associate Researcher at ISTAR/ISCTE-IUL. She has over 25 years of experience in software engineering (SE), with emphasis in software reuse and SE education. She has over 300 papers published in Brazilian and international conferences and journals. She is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Software Engineering Research and Development, of the Brazilian Society of Computer Science and a Program Committee Member of several Brazilian and international conferences.
