Ecem Sarper is a PhD student at Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. She completed her MSc in Health Psychology at University College London (UCL). Since 2020, she has been a member of the Behavior, Emotion, and Cognition (BEC) research group at CIS-Iscte. From a psychosocial perspective, her PhD project focuses on the determinants of grief symptoms, public stigma toward bereaved individuals, and mental and physical health outcomes of grief experiences.
