Filipa Crespo Osório graduated in Architecture at the Department of Architecture of the University of Coimbra (DARQ-FCTUC) in 2006. After graduation she worked in architecture offices in Barcelona and Lisbon and in 2012/13 returned to the academic world to attend the Course on Advanced Studies in Digital Architecture at ISCTE-IUL.
In 2020 she concluded her PhD thesis at ISCTE-IUL, ISTAR-IUL with title "Origami Surfaces for Kinetic Architecture", with a grant funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (Ref. SFRH / BD / 100818 / 2014).
Nowadays she is an integrated researcher at ISTAR-IUL, architect at Linha Alterada, Lda and teaches Software at LSD - Lisbon School of Design.
