Isabel Machado Alexandre is an accomplished academic and researcher. She holds a PhD in Computer Studies from the University of Leeds and has been a faculty member at the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE) since 2000, where she teaches in the areas of Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, and Artificial Intelligence.
