Isaiete Augusto Jabula, has a degree in Social Communication and Marketing, a Master's in African Studies from Iscte-IUL, and is a scholarship researcher at the Centre for International Studies at Iscte (CEI-IUL), in the context of the project "Sexual and reproductive rights of women and gender-based cultural resistances in West Africa".
For her Master's dissertation she studied the "Resistance to the abandonment of early and/or forced marriage and FGM practices in the ECOWAS region - the case of Guinea-Bissau".
She worked for over 9 years as a researcher at Voz di Paz - Iniciativa para a Consolidação de Paz, a Guinean NGO of Research-Action-Participation; she collaborated with the ECOWAS Centre for Gender Development for 4 months in the context of the "Platform 50 Million African Women have the Word", as Local Content Manager of the country team/Guinea-Bissau. Formerly a youth activist.
